Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American Actor, best known as a character on the well-known TV series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. His passion for acting started when he was in college. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in film and TV but his performances on the small screen have earned him a lot of popularity. He's been able seamlessly play the roles of characters on both sides of the law and grab the audience's interest. He was the voice of a serial murderer in the first TV series he appeared in however he later chose to portray the character as an NYPD detective. Multiple times he was recognized for his work in the highly coveted Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. His piercing blue eyes his face are considered to be the most appealing feature. They have been utilized to depict rough characters and make them more appealing. He was featured in 2006 when he was featured in People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
