Dua Lipa Dua Lipa, an English artist and singer was born in London on the 22nd of August 1995. After a stint as a fashion model and songwriter, she decided to sign with Warner Bros Records and release her debut album titled "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album reached the third place on the U.K. Chart for Albums. Eight singles were released and included Be The Only I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules (UK number one). It also rose to number 6 on the charts in the United States. The album, which has since been certified platinum in a variety of countries across the world was awarded two Brit Awards (in the year 2018) for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough act. Dua Lipa was born in London in the UK by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). The maternal grandparents of her are Bosnian.
